Philippians 4:8 LS

In the book of Philippians, Paul has written a letter to the church at Philippi, a church which he founded and loved deeply. Paul wanted his readers to be aware of the potential moral risks for the church on the horizon. But the letter is not only a warning, but a beautiful thank you as well. The Philippians have supported Paul financially and he is grateful for the provision and their prayers. Paul speaks from his heart and airs his hope and steadfast belief in rewards for Christ's faithful followers. Toward the end of the letter, Paul gives a commendable list of virtues to which we should all aspire. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things".
